WHO WE ARE
The Niraja Dance Company (The NDC) is a Baltimore based, professional group of Middle Eastern Dance artists specializing in Modern Egyptian and Urban bellydance styles. The NDC, featured on IAMED's "Bellydance Sensations" and "Bellydance O Rama" and "007", is one of Baltimore's premier Middle Eastern Dance companies and also travels to perform in many dance venues across the U.S.
With innovative choreographies by artistic director and choreographer, Lotus Niraja, they have established a reputation of presenting Middle Eastern dance with excitement, urban flair, innovation, and elegance.
As solo and troupe performers, The NDC enjoys entertaining and presenting belly dance as an art form inspired by the traditional dances of the Middle East and North Africa and their own unique cultures!
